Job Description

Position Title: Industrial Painter

Wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri)

QPS Employment Group has a great Industrial Painter position available at a company in Burlington, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. 

Industrial Painter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Mix and thin paint or other coatings to specified color and consistency according to customer requests.
- Regulate controls on equipment and paint booths to cure and dry paint or other coatings.
- Operate lifting and moving devices to move materials and equipment to access areas to be painted.
- Rack work pieces on skids, inspect, mark, and transfer finished products to staging / shipping areas.
- Responsible for cleanliness of paint booth, paint guns, spraying equipment and replacement of screens and filters.
- Maintain records of paint issued and inventory of supplies on hand.
- Initiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
- Complies with all company safety policies and procedures and practices safe work habits.
- Other duties as assigned.

Industrial Painter Requirements:
- Previous experience as a painter in an industrial environment preferred.
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.
- Agree to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company.
- Successfully pass QPS and company screening process.
