Inside Sales Trainer [Denver, Colorado]
Who you are: SumUp is seeking a dynamic and engaging Inside Sales Trainer to join the SumUp team in the Denver office. You will join the Sumup Learning and Development team while sitting alongside the growing Inside Sales team. The Inside Sales Trainer will be running both inside sales onboarding and account management onboarding for new reps as well as assisting with creating and facilitating upskilling trainings. The ideal candidate should have good teamwork and interpersonal skills, be a self- starter, and be able to navigate change with a positive attitude. The candidate should have experience both in delivering sales trainings and being in an inside sales role.
This role is based out of the Denver office with the expectation of being in office 5 days/week unless traveling. This role will require up to 50% travel to the El Paso and Boulder offices as well as potentially other locations to deliver trainings.
What you'll do: - Quickly learn Sumup products, processes, teams, and adult learning best practices
- Run 2 week in person onboarding program for new inside sales and account management reps including coordinating new joiner access setup, facilitating live training sessions, grading self-paced work, working with sales managers to certify and provide feedback on reps, and roleplaying to practice with reps
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve onboarding program and assist with upkeep of training materials
- Facilitate technical and soft skill upskilling trainings for various teams based on performance needs
- Build strong relationships with both the sales teams and Learning and Development (L&D) team
- Assist the L&D team as necessary with building and facilitating trainings, updating resources and documentation, and identifying training opportunities
What we're looking for: - 1-3 years experience delivering trainings and 1-3 years experience in a sales role
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Dynamic and engaging speaker
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn & self starter
- Have a drive for continuous learning and self-improvement as well as the ability to navigate change with a positive attitude
- Experience creating training materials and familiarity with adult learning theory is a plus
- Tech savviness or experience in the tech industry is a plus

Compensation: - $50,000-$65,000
- Compensation will be finalized based on the candidate's experience and location
