ESI is seeking an Instructional Designer to use modern technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community’s most vulnerable. We are working to find innovative solutions to some of healthcare’s biggest challenges.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist in designing engaging curriculum for our workforce as Gainwell helps clients deliver better health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation.
2. Lead one or more large project management teams by breaking down bigger technological programs and assisting with project staffing.

Qualifications

5 or more years’ experience in the following areas:

1. Experience analyzing learning needs and consulting with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.
2. Reviews user requirements, design specifications, and other project documentation.
3. Gathers information required to develop training courses and materials.
4. Assists in applying instructional design methods and adult learning principles to ensure that course materials meet learning goals. Reviews outlines and scripts to confirm that appropriate content is covered.
5. Authors training materials and ensures that content is relevant and appropriate to learning needs.
6. Develops computer-based instructional programs from outlines, documents and other materials.
7. May facilitate course delivery during the introduction of new courses to ensure proper delivery of new training materials and to monitor early feedback for course improvement.
8. Consults with trainers and clients to develop custom agendas. Authors quiz questions and interactive modules to assess participant retention.
9. Experience with Captivate or Articulate strongly preferred.
10. Availability during US working hours.
