Job Details
Responsibilities:
Contribute to close process, including managing close calendars, progression and acting as point person for close-related inquiries
Prepare and review entries for corporate transactions, intercompany settlement and eliminations, transfer pricing, reconciliations and flux analysis
Participate in maintenance activities including chart of accounts, entity reporting, user access, consolidation mappings and other controls
Manage multiple subsidiaries and compile data from multiple accounting systems
Work interdepartmentally with FP&A, treasury, tax as well as external auditors
Support variance analysis at the consolidated level and by lines of business
Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, SEC standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area of study
CPA certification preferred
Mix of public/private experience
Proven ability to work with multiple EPM and financial reporting systems
Prior experience with consolidations of different business units, companies, and international entities
Experience with financial reporting requirements under GAAP and SEC regulations
Prior experience working with foreign currency issues, month end close, eliminations and consolidations, SOX controls and external audits
