Title: Senior Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Columbia, SC (Partial Onsite Preferred; Remote Considered)
Pay: $69.23/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

This role involves senior-level full stack Java development within a DevSecOps pipeline, supporting a large portfolio of applications for a healthcare-related client. The position requires acting as a technical leader and collaborating closely with business analysts and customers to deliver robust solutions.

• Act as a technical leader in full stack Java development within a DevSecOps pipeline.
• Support and enhance a portfolio of over 50 Java-based applications, including new development and modifications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support greenfield development for new contracts and capabilities.
• Contribute to automation initiatives, such as developing chat channels to improve customer experience.
• Support security integration in the development process, including automation of security checks and configuration hardening.
• Lead, plan, organize, and coordinate complex projects or phases of large projects.
• Provide guidance to lower-level programmers/analysts.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with architectural standards.
• Perform analysis, design, programming, testing, and debugging of complex applications.
• Develop and support enterprise-level applications and integration solutions.
• Evaluate interrelationships between programs to assess impact of changes.
• Develop programming and development standards, and devise new data sources and approaches.
• Test programs, verify logic, debug, and document.

• 8+ years of application development, systems testing, or closely related experience.
• Hands-on DevSecOps experience in a delivery pipeline.
• Full stack Java development experience.
• Experience with Java Spring, Hibernate, REST services.
• Ability to support large Java application portfolios.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of security practices integrated into development (DevSecOps).
• Familiarity with tools such as SonarQube, Black Duck, GitHub.
• Experience with containerization and cloud services (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• JUnit / Spring Test framework.
• SOAP and REST services experience.
• JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, Node.js, React.js.
• Experience with cloud services and containerization.
• Ability to work remotely or onsite with partial onsite presence.
