About the job Journeyman Electrician Autonomy Staffing is seeking a skilled and licensed Electrician to work on commercial, industrial, and residential projects in the Charleston area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, with a strong commitment to safety and code compliance. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on various commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wiring systems, circuit breakers, and electrical panels. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations. Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning. Collaborate with other trades on job sites to ensure smooth project completion. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications: Valid South Carolina Electrical License. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed electrician. Strong knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in both residential and commercial electrical work.
