Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Developer to join our development team and grow their skills on our existing web application. This role is ideal for a developer looking to advance their career while working closely with senior developers and learning enterprise-level application development. You\'ll contribute to our ASP.NET Core and React application while receiving mentorship and guidance in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Development & Maintenance: Work on assigned features and bug fixes for our web application built with ASP.NET Core backend and React frontend with Material UI. Contribute to development and testing activities under the guidance of senior developers. Assist with troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes. Learn and apply code refactoring techniques to improve code quality. Follow established coding standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews to learn from experienced team members. Infrastructure & DevOps: Learn deployment processes on Windows Server using IIS. Assist with testing updates and patches in development environments. Help monitor application logs and report issues to senior team members. Gain exposure to Windows Authentication implementation and security practices. Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in meetings with Business Analyst and users to understand requirements. Ask clarifying questions to ensure proper understanding of assigned tasks. Provide status updates on assigned work. Learn Agile/Scrum methodologies through active participation in ceremonies. Shadow senior developers during user interactions to learn effective communication techniques. Documentation & Communication: Document code and features you develop. Maintain clear communication about progress and blockers. Ask questions and seek help when encountering technical challenges. Take notes during technical discussions to support learning. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in an IT-related discipline OR equivalent practical experience. Technical Skills: Foundational knowledge of .NET and C# programming; basic experience with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core; exposure to React and TypeScript for front-end development; familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals; basic understanding of SQL and relational databases; experience with Visual Studio or willingness to learn Visual Studio 2022; basic knowledge of version control with Git; understanding of web development concepts ( REST APIs, etc.); eagerness to learn modern front-end tooling (Vite, React Query, Material UI, Node.js). Professional Skills: Strong desire to learn and grow as a developer; ability to follow instructions and work under supervision; good problem-solving attitude and willingness to tackle challenges; basic communication skills with ability to ask good questions; ability to work both independently on small tasks and collaboratively with the team; openness to feedback and continuous improvement; basic time management and task prioritization skills. Experience: 2-5 years of web development experience (internships and academic projects may count toward experience); exposure to full stack development or strong interest in learning both front-end and back-end; some experience working with existing codebases; basic understanding of software development lifecycle.
