NYS Certification or study plan preferred

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.)

Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict.

Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum. (Identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.)

Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.

Track childrens progress.

Communicate with parents regularly.

Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

We require.......

A Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development and state certification

A Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and five years' experience in a licensed early childhood center

Proof of current and active enrollment in an accredited Associates or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Ability to lift objects of up to 30 lbs

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell

Ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch
