Impact Bridge is partnering with a respected, regionally recognized law firm to identify a Legal Billing and Collections Specialist to support its Finance team. This role works closely with attorneys and internal stakeholders to manage billing and collections processes in a professional services environment.

Role Overview

The Legal Billing and Collections Specialist is responsible for full-cycle billing and accounts receivable support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize client invoices
• Generate and distribute pre-bills for attorney review
• Process billing edits, adjustments, and revisions
• Review client billing guidelines and maintain tracking records
• Coordinate expense documentation and invoice submissions
• Monitor accounts receivable and support collection efforts
• Respond to billing-related inquiries from attorneys and clients
• Post payments and assist with daily cash receipt processing
• Maintain organized electronic client and matter records
• Collaborate with team members to meet billing and collection deadlines
• Perform additional duties as assigned
   

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of legal billing experience
• Proficiency with billing systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Prior collections experience is a plus
