Lia Toyota Colonie is seeking B/C Level Automotive Technician to join our team. If you're an experienced technician looking for a fast-paced, professional, and positive environment that rewards hard-working, reliable, and team-oriented individuals, this is the right place for you! Lia service departments are equipped with the latest technologies & equipment including service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $36K-$60K

SIGN ON BONUS: Available up to $2000 based on experience and certification(s)

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ years of Service Technician experience required
• Experience performing preventative and light duty maintenance.
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience preferred.
• NYS Inspection certification preferred.
• ASE Certification recommended.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• Computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have clean & valid driver's license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including, suspension, brakes, , tires, light engine work etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
