The Licensed Customs Broker and Compliance Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a company's global trade compliance program, ensuring adherence to U.S. and international customs regulations, laws, and trade agreements. This role involves a blend of customs brokerage expertise, compliance management, and strategic oversight. Focus on building brokerage business with a monthly incentive once reaching 1.5 times their monthly salary will then be applicable for commission.
Key Responsibilities:
· Customs Brokerage:
- Building Brokerage cliental to the company
- Represent the company before U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other relevant agencies: National Permit Qualifier
- Prepare and submit customs documentation for import entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Obtain line releases and other approvals as needed.
- Stay up to date on changes in customs regulations and policies
- Monitor and advise on duty, tax, and tariff rates.
- Knowledge of statement/ach payments process of duties and taxes
- Ensure proper classification and valuation of imported goods.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. trade regulations, customs laws, and trade agreements; expert knowledge of anti- dumping/countervailing duty, section 232, 301 and other.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and government officials.
- This is a hands-on role and must have experience with customs clearance
· Compliance Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive trade compliance program.
- Monitor and interpret changes in trade regulations and laws.
- Identify and assess potential compliance risks in company operations.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions.
- Provide training and guidance for staff on trade compliance procedures.
- Act as a liaison with CBP and other government agencies.
- Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures related to international trade.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, international trade, business administration) preferred.
- Licensure: Licensed Customs Broker (United States).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in customs compliance and trade operations.
· Skills:
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and international customs regulations, laws, and trade agreements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with customs brokerage software and electronic filing systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

· Language: Fluency in English, bilingual a plus, Chinese speaking preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
