Marketing Copywriter
Compensation: Starting annual salary of $53,000-66,000 + three performance-based bonuses a year!
Location: Salina, KS

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a strong knack for research, communication, and writing to support our growing E-Commerce presence. The ideal candidate must be well-organized, action-oriented, and intellectually curious, possessing a high level of creativity. In this role, you will collaborate with friendly teammates across multiple departments to ensure a consistent brand voice across all Marketing channels and optimize our customer experience. Responsibilities:

• Perform product-related research in order to learn industry and market trends, applying the knowledge-gained to marketing content.
• Create, share, and publish written content to be published across digital channels with the mission of promoting products accurately and attracting new customers.
• Edit written content produced by yourself or others, ensuring errors are eliminated.
• Consistently meet deadlines with quality work and correct application of Search Engine and/or Conversion Rate Optimization (SEO/CRO) principles.
• Proactively communicate design needs to the graphic design team, supporting content initiatives.
• Review and interpret campaign results, identify problems, and share analysis with key stakeholders or leadership to drive continuous improvement.
• Learn and apply principles that optimize the overall customer experience, such as developing content optimized for mobile-device users.
• Ability to read, write & understand complicated product technical documentation & standard operating procedures with attention to high-level concepts a plus.
• Own the content calendar for Huyett.com and draft copy for blog pages, product pages, and landing page content.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Excellent written communication and English comprehension skill required.
• Stellar research skill and ability to summarize/present analysis required.
• Previous content production experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and/or Search Engine Marketing (SEM) software preferred.
• Knowledge of Google tools: Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager preferred.
• Prior Business-to-Business E-Commerce experience desired.
• Education in Marketing, English, Communications, or other relevant field desired.

Work Environment: Office setting with friendly, out-going, team-oriented staff. Candidates should anticipate a very fast-paced, productive work environment. Occasionally, the candidate will navigate in our manufacturing plant environment to interface with operations teammates.
