Description
The Part-Time Marketing Specialist is responsible for the support and execution of projects utilizing mostly digital mediums. This position will assist with creative development and strategy for marketing projects with the goal of maximizing revenue potential, brand awareness, and market share. This position will work closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Marketing Manager.
Requirements
- Report and coordinate closely with the Marketing Manager on creation/deployment of all creative materials and campaigns.
- Design, edit and develop digital marketing collateral, such as, website/mobile ads, Google Display ads, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn content, blog posts, newsletter stories, logos, etc. Alongside the Senior Marketing Specialist.
- Assist with tradeshow/event marketing collateral and execution.
- Schedule and post social media content.
- Copywrite and proof blog posts, newsletter stories, and social media captions.
- Design, edit and develop email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp. Organize, update and report on subscriber data in Mailchimp. Analyze email campaign reports and submit reports to the Marketing Manager on results.
- Update company website, including but not limited to, written content, photographs, overall aesthetic and look/feel to align with brand guidelines.
- Basic photography and videography skills for content creation.
Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or business preferred
- 1-2 years of experience or a combination of education and experience.
Communication/Language Skills - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a must
- Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions.
- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
Technical Competencies - Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Google Ads, GA4, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Adobe Express, Asana, Linktree, and other content/project management systems.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and/or other design programs, including but not limited to, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.
