Join our team at Harmony Hospice! Full-time Medical Records Assistant
At Harmony Hospice , our highly trained staff of dedicated professionals focuses on quality of life and maximum comfort, and are ready to adapt as patient needs evolve. We also serve as a resource for loved ones as they go through their own emotional journeys, make important decisions, and learn how to best care for their families during this time. For as long as care is required, we are committed to patients and their families.
Responsibilities medical records and data entry, i.e., running patient insurance, entering new patient data into EMR.
Collect and file resident personal information, including their medical history and demographics.
Issue medical files to the appropriate individuals or agencies that request it.
Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong organizational skills, dependable, and the ability to multitask and work independently
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
