*Job Description:*
Gifted Healthcare is seeking experienced *MedSurg Nurses (RNs)* for travel contracts in New Jersey. This is a full-time contract position requiring relocation for the length of the assignment. As a *MedSurg Nurse*, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care in a *MedSurg* setting, assessing patient needs, and contributing to a team-focused environment. Your *MedSurg* expertise will be key in ensuring the highest standard of care for patients in need of medical interventions and treatments.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide bedside care for a variety of patients in the *MedSurg* unit.
* Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized care plans for *MedSurg* patients.
* Administer and record prescribed medications as part of the *MedSurg* care plan.
* Assist physicians during examinations and procedures in the *MedSurg* setting.
* Monitor patient symptoms and take appropriate action when needed in *MedSurg* care.
* Perform necessary procedures including dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts as required in *MedSurg* care.
* Document patient progress accurately in the *MedSurg* unit.
*Requirements:*
* Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, specifically in *MedSurg* nursing.
* Recent experience in a *MedSurg* specialty.
* Active RN license in good standing.
* Must be willing to relocate for the duration of the contract in New Jersey.
