Position Overview:

• Skilled and detail-oriented Network Operations Support Specialist to provide hands-on operational support focused on Extreme Networks infrastructure.
• Assist with day-to-day networking tasks, configuration, and troubleshooting, working closely with the internal network team.
• Requires a solid understanding of Extreme Networks technology, with a focus on operational execution rather than strategic planning.

Pay Rate: $70.00-$75.00/Hour


Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on operational support for Extreme Networks environments, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Work with a mix of Extreme Networks platforms including EXOS, VOSS, and BOSS.
• Support the customer's CloudIQ platform for network management and visibility.
• Assist with managing extreme switching across the Core, Edge, and Closet environments.
• Coordinate with the AVP of Infrastructure and the Network Team Lead to align on tasks and deliverables.
• Provide weekly activity recaps summarizing completed work, issues encountered, and upcoming priorities.
• Utilize and support network fabric technologies where applicable (fabric experience is a plus, but not required).

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Extreme Networks technologies.
• Familiarity with CloudIQ and network monitoring tools.
• Experience with EXOS, VOSS, and BOSS operating systems.
• Exposure to or experience with Extreme Fabric Connect is a bonus.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
