Office Manager

Location: Lackawanna, NY

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

An established manufacturing and converting company is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team at our Western NY location in Lackawanna. We’re looking for an energetic, conscientious, and detail‐oriented professional who enjoys teamwork, takes pride in their work, and is motivated to make a meaningful impact.

This role reports directly to the General Sales and Operations Manager and involves overseeing front‐office operations while supporting production flow and daily business activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and manage both front‐end functions (Customer Service, Accounting, ERP systems) and back‐end operations (Materials and Planning) to effectively support and lead staff.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s product lines and operational processes.
  • Handle order entry, purchase orders, and manufacturing order input.
  • Collaborate daily with production staff to support process improvements and workflow efficiency.
  • Manage both B2B and online customer orders on a daily basis.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; higher education preferred.
  • 10–15 years of work experience, ideally in manufacturing or office management.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and skilled in problem‐solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (Odoo strongly preferred) and accounting software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Adaptable, versatile, and eager to learn and take initiative.
