An established Pain Management practice is seeking an experienced Medical Office Manager. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to lead effectively, is hardworking and be reliable. This position is full-time (Monday-Friday).
Core Duties:
⦁ Oversee, plan, supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the practice.
⦁ Ensure the daily operations of the practice run smoothly and effectively.
⦁ Liaises with patients, medical doctors, attorneys, insurance companies, billers and potential business contacts on behalf of the managing physician.
⦁ Manage the schedules and duties of the employees and independent contractors in the practice.
⦁ Ensure that at the end of each day, all A/R activities are signed off and sent to the relevant departments and the managing physician.
⦁ Assist with the hiring, termination and training of all staff members and independent contractors.
⦁ Establish and enforce office policies.
⦁ Hold office meetings on a regular basis between all members of staff and the managing physician.
⦁ Oversee the ordering, logging and retention of all office supplies.
⦁ Assist the managing physician,employees and independent contractors with administrative and clinical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
⦁ At least 2 years managerial experience in a healthcare setting.
⦁ Strong organizational and leadership skills.
⦁ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
⦁ Minimum education: High School diploma with experience is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
