Responsibilities In-house counsel for State Farm Insurance Company is seeking a Paralegal for our Riverside, California office. Competitive candidates will have relevant experience in personal injury defense or insurance defense with knowledge regarding litigation procedures, local court rules, discovery, trial preparation, law and motion, and medical record summaries. The position requires a paralegal certificate or paralegal degree or BA; excellent communication, technology, writing, and analytical skills; experience working in a paperless environment; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; ability to communicate with clients in a knowledgeable, professional and compassionate manner. The qualified candidate must be reliable, dedicated and team-oriented with professional appearance and demeanor. The selected individual will be considered a hybrid employee, spending required time in the office with some optional opportunities to work in a virtual environment at times. Work arrangements are subject to change over time based on business needs. *PLEASE NOTE: The office is currently located in Riverside, CA. It is expected that the office will be relocated to Ontario, CA in first quarter of 2025. Same hybrid model would apply.
