Job Description

Parking attendant Position overview: Managing parking area, assisting guests in finding parking spaces, and ensuring the safety and security of vehicles in the parking lots.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Guide and assist guests in locating available parking spaces.
• Monitor the parking area to ensure proper use and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Collect payment as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized parking area.
• Report any incidents or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
• Assist in managing traffic flow within the parking area.
• Adjust traffic flow and assist any emergency vehicles through the parking lot as needed.

Work experience requirements

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Must be courteous with good communication skills and service mindset.

Physical requirements

• Able to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully
• Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays when needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
