Parts Analyst – Forklift Dealership

We are looking for a Parts Analyst to work in the parts department of our local material handling equipment dealership. As a Parts Analyst, you will purchase, store, inventory and issue spare parts for industrial equipment.

As a Parts Analyst, you will provide a full range of replacement forklift and other industrial equipment parts to both external customers as well as our company’s Service Technicians.

As a Parts Analyst, you must be highly detail oriented and have a proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Since you will be providing customer service in your role as a Parts Analyst, it is also important that you have a positive, upbeat attitude and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Your specific duties as a Parts Analyst will include:

• Sourcing and purchasing parts (sourcing without VINs)
• Consulting with customers in both a sales and advisory capacity and providing them with all needed parts
• Ensuring that all parts are fully stocked
• Keeping Service Technicians supplied with all necessary parts
• Conducting regular inventory counts
• Assuming responsibility for all duties related to shipping and receiving of parts
• Performing record management on a regular basis
• Handling all returns and warranty issues

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, crouch and twist
• Experience in inventory management strongly preferred 1-2 years related experience (construction equipment dealership, farm equipment dealership, etc.) strongly preferred
• Mechanical aptitude/background preferred
