Job Description

Title: Plant Manager

Location: Clinton, SC

Pay: $130k - $150k

Type: Direct hire

Industry: Manufacturing - paper/pulp

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of manufacturing, optimizing profitability and cash flow
Improve and report on key performance indicators to senior management
Ensure that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained
Manage the performance of the manufacturing team
Drive all aspects of the Zero Accident Culture initiative
Ensure that the facility is well-maintained and that all equipment is in good working order
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the facility operates efficiently and effectively
Ensure the talent plan is kept up to date

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
Five (5)+ years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
Lean Certification preferred
Ability to work well under pressure
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements
