Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced cyber and privacy attorney to join our thriving and expanding Privacy, Cyber & Data Governance practice in Washington, DC. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of our nationally recognized multidisciplinary Telecom, Media, and Technology Practice Group, with the potential to collaborate across other practice groups within the firm.

As a Privacy, Cyber & Data Governance Special Counsel, you will play a client-facing role with significant responsibility, working with a diverse range of clients and challenging projects. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic legal environment, contributing to critical matters about privacy compliance, data and information management, surveillance laws, and incident handling.

Key Qualifications

• At least six years of experience in privacy compliance, data and information management, surveillance laws, and/or incident handling.
• Preferred background in handling government investigations or litigation.
• Experience in a large law firm
• High attention to detail and strong project management skills.
• Creative problem-solving approaches and an interest in business development.
• Self-starter attitude with an ability to manage responsibilities independently.
