QuaverEd seeks a Producer for their original, full-length musical “One Step at a Time.” This is a unique opportunity to shape a dynamic theatrical experience from the ground up. The musical is in final development stages, with it already being workshopped in New York City. The Producer will play a central role in overseeing the development, coordination, and execution of the show over a 12-month contract. This position will work closely with the Director, creative teams, and QuaverEd’s executive leadership throughout every stage of the production.

Salary: Based on qualifications

Job Duties:

• Serve as the lead logistical and operational force behind the musical’s development;
• Collaborate closely with the Director, executive team, and creative personnel;
• Facilitate hiring and coordination of all contractors and collaborators (writers, designers, choreographers, performers, and more);
• Manage the production timeline, schedules, and budgetary goals;
• Ensure communication and alignment across all creative and production departments;
• Oversee contract negotiations, rights, and other legal/administrative needs as applicable;
• Problem-solve creatively to ensure smooth progress from concept to completion;

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience producing live theater, preferably musicals; 
• Strong understanding of production workflows and creative development;
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and navigate complex projects;
• Excellent organizational and communication skills;
• Familiarity with SEL content or a passion for educational entertainment is a plus; and
• Position based in Nashville, TN

Contract Details:

• 12-month contract
• Compensation: Based on qualifications 
• Flexible start date (Summer 2025)
