Job Title: PRODUCT CONTROL SANITATION WORKER - 13 Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 6:00AM-2:30PM
Hours Per Week: 40+ hours; Full Time
Location: San Marcos, CA - At this time,
we are only considering local candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Wage : $22 per hour
Ideal Candidate Criteria: The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to lift up to 75 lbs., understand and communicate in English, and consistently maintain prompt and reliable attendance.
Job Duties: The
Product Control Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role involves cleaning drains, floors, and equipment using manual and powered tools such as floor scrubbers. The position requires accurate completion of documentation and routine sanitation tasks, often in cold environments (approximately 35°F) and occasionally outdoors.
- Ensure paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, accurate format and ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs. May work in a cold environment which averages 35 degrees Fahrenheit. May work outdoors.
- Clean drains and floors.
- Requires the ability to speak and understand English.
- Have the ability to use power equipment, floor scrubbers, etc.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs on occasion.
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed: Basic speaking, reading and writing in English for paperwork and computer training purposes. Basic computer skills experience needed and ability to learn and retain knowledge. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to very cold conditions; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
