Professional Land Surveyor

...with a path to ownership

One of our top clients in South Dakota is seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in surveying principles and practices, with a preference for a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license. This is a "stand alone" role, which means that the PLS doesn't have to manage anyone. Time will be split between the office and the field. This role will appeal to the person who knows that it is easier to just to do it yourself than to fix the mistakes of others.

This specific company has secured contracts and long-term success. A PLS who wants to buy into ownership, will have that option. One could potentially own the company out right.

Professional Land Surveyor  Responsibilities:

• Mortgage Surveys
• Boundary Surveys & Platting
• Construction Staking
• Topographical Work
• Preliminary Layouts for Developments

Professional Land Surveyor  Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and equipment.
• Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center).
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• PLS license is preferred but applicants who will become licensed within 1 year can be considered.
