QUALITY ENGINEER

AUTOMOTIVE PARTS MANUFACTURING

0-5 Years Experience

Looking for a Quality Engineer to work on customer quality, audits, quality improvement, APQP, problem solving, and new product launch.

Job Function

• The Quality Engineer will be responsible for identifying and addressing quality issues, conducting audits, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• The candidate will also be responsible for completing PPAP submissions to customers and tracking progress of quality initiatives using APQP, Problem Solving - 8D, 5 Why, and other tools in IATF 16949
• Manage Scorecards, IATF 16949 and Layered Audits.
• Maintain quality related project | program status, particularly new project launch quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates should have 0-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the automotive industry. Recent college graduates with a degree in engineering and an interest in quality assurance are welcome to apply.
• 0-5 years experience in Quality at an automotive parts or OEM.
• BSME or BSIE
• Knowledge in the following is a plus - Familiarity with AIAG base quality standards - TS 16949, PPAP etc. (or Toyota Production System - TPS Quality or Honda Production Methods - HPM Quality) and know how to track projects progress - aspects of program management.
• Prior experience in internal quality, customer quality, or launch quality or program management role related to quality or internship in Quality is a plus.
