We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be a QuickBooks expert with a passion for client communication and a deep understanding of bookkeeping processes. This role involves working directly with clients who use various QuickBooks platforms, including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Enterprise. In addition to bookkeeping duties, this position requires supporting office operations by handling phone calls, greeting customers, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping Expertise:
    • Perform accurate bookkeeping services for multiple clients across various industries.
    • Manage and reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve QuickBooks issues for clients.
  • Client Communication:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing professional support and clear communication.
    • Proactively identify client needs and offer solutions.
  • Office Support:
    • Answer and manage incoming phone calls with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Welcome in-person clients and assist with their inquiries.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA or professional services firm.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Enterprise required.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of the bookkeeping process, including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    • Familiarity with other accounting software and tools is a plus.
