ValueTec Appraisal Services is excited to announce we have two openings for an apprentice to become a Real Estate Appraiser. If you're looking forward to a career performing professional real estate appraisals, this is the ground-level opportunity you're looking for. It is a full time paid program working with a Certified Real Estate Appraiser. You'll receive mentoring and hands-on experience determining the value of residential real estate properties and learn the art of combining extensive data with neighborhood expertise to create accurate and timely valuations. You'll learn to use cutting-edge valuation software and will be trained in streamlined appraisal processes with unparalleled back-end support. This includes assisting your supervising Certified Real Estate Appraiser, compiling data, traveling to appraisal locations and writing appraisal reports using state of the art software.
We are looking for an individual with a driven work ethic, strong communication, written and verbal skills along with a commitment to a long and prosperous career with our successful growing firm. Duties:
~Assisting a designated certified real estate appraiser with writing appraisal reports and inspecting properties
~Compiling and verifying property data
~Any daily duties that will promote teamwork and support to the overall company goals
Requirements:
~ Some real estate experience and or an Associates or Bachelors Degree
~Friendly and Positive Personality
~Strong research skills
~Good verbal and writing/grammar skills
~Skills with Computers are a must, Word Documents, Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
~Flexible with hours
~Team player with strong work ethics
~ 79-hr Basic Appraisal Licensing Education package from McKissock
