Job Description
We are recruiting for a mission-driven Regional Manager of Operations to oversee a portfolio of after school programs in California. This person will be directly responsible for ensuring operational excellence while driving growth across all revenue channels. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this person will manage a team of Area Managers and Program Managers that are passionately focused on creating and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents and stakeholders while staying true to the Company mission vision, values and goals, ultimately creating a world-class after school program that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless program execution, uphold quality and safety standards, and continuously identify opportunities to enhance program performance.
Lead with Impact: Manage and influence key business decisions that maximize revenue growth, customer retention, and new business opportunities—fueling both internal and external organizational growth.
Deliver Profitable Results: Use strong business acumen and data-driven insights to identify financial opportunities, address challenges, and drive performance that directly supports KPI and EBITDA goals.
Solve and Elevate: Take initiative to resolve issues independently while knowing when to escalate to ensure programs consistently exceed expectations.
Champion Change and Innovation: Embrace new ideas, navigate challenges with confidence, and lead teams through transformation—balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
The ideal candidate has multi-site operations leadership experience with direct budget or P&L ownership. This person has a track record of managing a geographically dispersed workforce, with a specific focus on coaching and developing managers and building high-performing teams, by building trust, being collaborative and having FUN while doing it. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to toggle between the weeds and the clouds, equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done, ideally with the following qualifications:
