Job Description
The Regional Security Director is responsible for overseeing security operations across multiple locations. The Regional Security Director is responsible for, but not limited to:
Visiting all Covered 6 accounts on a rotating basis.
Employee uniform. appearance, equipment serviceability and adherence to policy.
Communication and evaluation of all Covered 6 account managers.
Evaluation of safety and security protocols.
Vehicle fleet managment assistance and inpsection of vehicles for safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
Interacting with clients and account managers once an account has been established.
Remaining highly available to the client, 24/7 via phone, text, and other communication applications.
Remaining highly available to the account managers to assist in staffing needs, scheduling, and human rescource matters.
Remaining highly availble and maintaining a high degree of communication with the CEO and COO of Covered 6.
Internal investigations, and injury prevention and investigations.
Implementing security policies and procedures, post orders, directives, and organizing training to protect assets, employees, and clients.
Team Leadership: Managing account security managers and their personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaboration with Law Enforcement.
Consistent Follow Through: Expeditiously follow through with the completion of all tasks.
The ideal Regional Security Manager will possess the following characteristics:
Highly energetic, with a collaborative and mentoring leadership style.
Physically fit, with height in proportion to weight. This is a physically demanding job, which requires a great deal of walking, and standing.
Law enforcement experience is favored: For those with law enforcement experience, a California Peace Officers Standards and Training Profile (POST Profile) must be submitted with your application.
Military experience is favored: For those with military experience, a certified copy of your DD-214 must be submitted with your application.
High Degree of Emotional Intelligence, and Genuine Empathy.
Clear, freindly, and artilculate verbal communicaiton skills.
Outstanding written communication skills.
Demonstrated skills and experience in all of the above characteristics and responsibilities.
