On a typical day, 5A has 24 patients with a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio and 1:10 CA/patient ratio. The conditions include illnesses, surgery, testing, and observation patients. We take care of patients with comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension, stroke, renal and psychiatric issues. While caring for our patients is the focus, 5A boasts a strong team environment, improved nurse communication and a commitment to SOVAH Health’s core values.
