Department/Unit:Women and Children PRN

Work Shift: The RN Educator is a nurse who, through clinical experience, study and supervise practice in patient care at the masters or doctoral level, has gained expertise in a specific specialty area of patient care services.

Job Grade 64 Nurse Clinician Demonstrates the advanced knowledge and skills required for specialty nursing. Responsible and accountable for the development and application of specialty practice standards, staff development, regulatory compliance and research to enhance the quality of care to the patient and the patient’s family. As an advanced practitioner, the Nurse Clinician is essential to the management of complex patient and systems related issues.

Master's Degree in nursing- required for Nurse Clinician Role. Pediatric Critical Care Certification (Preferred) Pediatric Cardiac Care Experience (Preferred) Demonstrated effective leadership, teaching, research and communication skills.
