About the Role - We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Sales Researcher to support our business development team by identifying and qualifying new client opportunities within the event and experiential marketing industries. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, skilled at online research, data organization, and understands the dynamics of the live events landscape. This is a temp to hire opportunity that is based on-site in our Los Angeles Headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential client leads in sectors such as experiential marketing, corporate events, trade shows, festivals, and brand activations.
  • Build and maintain a robust database of prospective clients including event producers, marketing agencies, and corporate event planners.
  • Gather and analyze information about upcoming events, conferences, and campaigns where staffing services may be needed.
  • Qualify leads based on company size, industry relevance, event needs, and potential staffing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize leads and prepare prospecting lists for outreach.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Ensure CRM systems are updated with accurate, organized, and current lead information.
  • Assist with creating brief prospecting reports and summaries for sales team meetings.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of research, lead generation, or sales support experience
  • Excellent research skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and data management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms
  • Understanding of the live events industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and persistent in identifying opportunities.
