An established, privately funded oil & gas company with assets in Texas and other is looking for a Reservoir Engineering Technician to support its growing Engineering Team. With active non-op and operated assets, the company has built a solid track record through strategic acquisitions and development.
Position Overview:
This role will support engineering, reserves management, and data analysis across multiple teams including Reserves, Development, and Corporate Planning. You’ll report directly to the COO and gain broad exposure to technical and commercial workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update corporate Aries reserves database (Aries required)
- Support semi-annual reserve redeterminations with lenders/auditors
- Collaborate across Geology, Land, Finance, and Accounting
- Contribute to internal and external presentations and well evaluations
- Assist with LOE updates, well forecasting, accruals, and financial modeling
Required skillset and experience:
- Educated to degree level in Engineering or related discipline.
- 2–5+ years in reservoir or engineering technician roles (or relevant degree)
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Aries; SQL, Spotfire, Enverus a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Self-starter with excellent communication and teamwork skills
