We are looking for compassionate caregivers to join our team a Whisper Woods of Smithtown ! As a Resident Care Associate , your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Shift: 2:30pm - 7:30pm

Schedule: varies, weekdays & weekends

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Assisting residents during meal times
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA license
• Valid HHA certificate
• Valid PCA certificate
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is preferred
