RF Engineer – Systems Performance IV - Annapolis Junction, MD (MD0559)

Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer with a strong background in 5G and LTE/VoLTE network design and optimization. This role is part of the Net Systems Performance team, requiring advanced analytical and scripting skills to ensure network quality and performance standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Apply expert knowledge of RF theory and best practices to support wireless network
• Design and optimize 5G and LTE/VoLTE networks for peak performance
• Analyze network KPIs and implement optimization strategies
• Conduct model tuning to align with real-world performance
• Utilize Python scripting to automate and enhance reporting and analysis
• Create and manage Excel VBA macros and complex worksheet structures

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience analyzing broken performance trends
• Ability to audit and optimize both 4G and 5G networks
• Proficiency in optimizing clusters of sites
• Advanced Excel skills including macro creation (VBA)
• Solid Python scripting capabilities

Desired Skills:

• Real-time event monitoring and reporting
• KPI monitoring to identify and address site degradations
• Drive test data analysis
