With over 40 years of experience, Intermountain provides a wide array of services and solutions that meet all residential street, highway, and commercial customer needs. What we offer

Intermountain offers a variety of employment opportunities through various pavement preservation projects across the Intermountain United States. The nature of our work requires frequent travel to various jobsites and locations. The company will cover the cost of lodging and a daily per diem of $75/day while working out of town. Applicants will need to be flexible with schedule, location, and time of shift changes. We offer very competitive wages and are willing to negotiate based upon experience. When overtime is necessary it is paid according to local state law. We also offer a generous benefits package which includes:

What you will do:
  • Become proficient with all pavement preservation processes and operations and travel to various worksites with other crew members to provide high quality products and services
  • Continually observe all leader instructions, customer specifications, and standards of the Company Code of Conduct
  • Take ownership over your work, equipment, conditions, and surroundings to keep safety first in all things both for yourself and for all crew members
  • Think innovatively, actively participate in safety tailgate meetings, contribute purposefully to the Company's safety culture, and communicate clearly, openly, and constructively

What you will need:

Required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and commitment to remain drug free
  • A current and valid driver's license with reliable transportation to and from local office
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more with repetitive lifting, bending, and twisting

Preferred
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in construction and/or road maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders in a construction/ plant environment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds from floor to waist. Specific vision abilities required by this job include at least 20/30 Snellen in one eye and 20/50 in the other, with or without corrective lenses. Adequate hearing, with or without a hearing aid. Ability to distinguish colors. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Subject to outside working conditions.
