Job Title: Scaffold Builder Helper
Job Description

The Scaffold Builder Helper will play a key role in setting up job sites by assisting in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding. This position requires movement of materials around the site and supporting the foreman with various assigned duties. The role involves working outdoors, primarily in the Charlotte area, and requires the use of hand tools such as hammers for scaffold construction.

Responsibilities

• Set up job sites in the morning and assist in building and erecting scaffolding.
• Move materials around the site and support the foreman with various duties as assigned.
• Assist scaffolders in dismantling scaffolding structures.
• Utilize hand tools, including hammers, for scaffold construction.
• Load company trucks and assist in building and dismantling units on-site.
• Wear a harness for work up to 10 feet; certification for higher work available after 90 days.

• Experience with general labor and production tasks.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and engaging in heavy lifting.
• Ability to work outdoors, with skills in construction, carpentry, and framing.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience in commercial construction and demolition.

• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry is a plus.

Work Environment

Work primarily outdoors on construction sites, with activities centered at the largest Sunbelt Scaffolding location. Enjoy a spacious and open yard facility, including a two-story indoor area with break rooms, water coolers, and vending machines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
