Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant with experience in school-based healthcare settings. This role supports K-12 students in achieving their physical and developmental goals through tailored therapy services within an educational environment. The position is a contracted full school year assignment based in Atlanta, GA.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with valid credentials
• Experience providing therapy services in school settings, preferably K-12
• Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy practices and school healthcare protocols
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills tailored to educational and healthcare standards

Location:

• Atlanta, GA area
• Position supports K-12 students in a school setting, aligning with academic calendar

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans following students educational and physical needs
• Deliver physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function among students
• Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, and counselors to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and healthcare regulations
• Participate in team meetings and provide input for student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
