Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing physical therapy services in a K-8 charter elementary school setting, this part-time role supports one student requiring individualized therapy and compensatory minutes. The position offers a contract for the current school year with potential for extended summer services (ESY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored physical therapy interventions to a student with special needs.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and service plans.
• Provide therapy services approximately 5 hours or less weekly, with flexibility for additional hours during ESY if needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based settings.
• Knowledge of developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educational staff.
• Ability to manage therapy time efficiently within a limited weekly schedule.
• Familiarity with compensatory minutes and related school service delivery requirements.
