Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students in an educational setting, focusing on improving mobility, access, and participation aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. This position involves close collaboration with school staff to support students physical needs within the classroom and school environment.

Location:This role is based onsite in Bangor, PA, serving students at multiple elementary schools and Bangor High School.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to eligible students according to their IEPs.
• Work directly with approximately eight students, providing individualized therapy sessions ranging from 30 to 60 minutes weekly.
• Partner with educators, therapists, and support staff to promote student engagement and accessibility.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise toward student success.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based therapy preferred.
• Strong ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with school environments and individualized educational supports.

Schedule and Duration:

• Part-time commitment of 10 to 15 hours per week.
• Contract position available until June 1, 2026.
