*Summary:*

This is an opportunity to be an integral part of the Accounting Team at Lipman Family Farms, responsible for providing key decision support to executive leadership in a fast growing, nation-wide fresh produce company. This role provides vital financial performance information and analysis to Sr. Management and ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. *Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in accounting
* 5 years proven success in a similar role
* Leadership/supervisory experience in accounting
* Proclivity for attention to detail, organization and follow through
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical
* Advanced computer skills; particularly Microsoft Excel
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Solid business acumen
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
* Experience in agriculture or manufacturing industries a plus
* Experience with IBM Cognos TM1 or Microsoft Power BI a plus

*Essential Duties and Requirements:*
* Lead 1 to 2 staff accountants
* Preparation, consolidation, and analysis of financial statements
* Prepare monthly account reconciliations with analysis and explanations
* Prepare and post month-end journal entries
* Review journal entries to ensure accuracy
* Communicate with company stakeholders regarding financial questions and research
* Develop procedures and process improvements
* Participate in year-end external financial statement audit
* Maintain general ledger chart of accounts and reporting structure in company ERP and reporting system
* Review and research intercompany transactions for proper elimination
* Ad hoc projects as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
