Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on cost variances between actual and standard costs
• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial statement variance analysis
• Work closely with plant management to develop and maintain standard cost systems
• Ensure accurate and timely inventory accounting and reconciliation
• Develop and maintain product cost estimates
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to junior cost accountants

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in cost accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with financial statement variance analysis
• Knowledge of plant accounting and inventory accounting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
