Wistia is looking for a Senior Email Marketing Manager to own our email marketing strategy and program. In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting thoughtful, high-impact email campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and drive meaningful business results. At Wistia, we leverage email as a way to communicate to both existing users (both free and paid) and leads in our database that have not yet created an account. Email helps us onboard new users, communicate new product updates, and provide valuable resources to help every member of our database on their video marketing journey. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our email program delivers the right message to the right people at the right time by collaborating with other members of the marketing, ops and Product Growth teams to develop segmentation strategies and optimize automation workflows. We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and data—someone who can build compelling email experiences while continuously testing and refining strategies to maximize performance. If you're passionate about email marketing, eager to experiment, and ready to make a measurable impact, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Email Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive email strategy that supports both new customer acquisition and customer retention. Personalization & Segmentation: Leverage customer and user data to create highly personalized and targeted email campaigns and audiences that drive engagement and are optimized for conversions. Automation & Workflow Optimization: Build and manage automated email workflows that guide prospects and customers through their journey. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing ops and the content, customer marketing, brand, acquisition and product growth teams to ensure messaging alignment and impact. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key email metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, unsubscribe rates) to continuously optimize for better performance and tie our email program to product usage and down funnel metrics. Platform & Process Management: Partner with the Product, Ops and customer-facing teams to create a holistic user experience across all email platforms (HubSpot, Postmark, Outreach.io) to ensure efficient execution and data accuracy. Qualifications The best candidates will have: 6+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS or tech environment. Deep experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). Strong analytical mindset —you love diving into data, measuring impact, and refining strategies based on insights. Excellent storytelling and messaging skills , with an eye for crafting engaging and persuasive emails. Detail-obsessed project manager who can juggle multiple priorities while keeping an eye on the big picture. Working at Wistia We try to ensure Wistia is an inclusive and diverse place where everyone feels happy, fulfilled, respected, comfortable, and welcome. We're proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace. We care a lot, so our benefits are actually benefits, not just the fun stuff like swag and snacks in the office (though we also have lots of those too!). We know the biggest investment we can make is in our employees, so we provide: A competitive compensation package that includes employee stock options. 401k with 3% company contribution, regardless of whether you contribute (Roth 401k available). Fully paid healthcare, dental, and vision insurance premiums (family plans included). Pre-Tax FSA and Dependent Care Account. 16 weeks paid parental leave. Flexible Time Off. Everyone should get out of their office to recharge and reboot. Remote-first culture (work from anywhere in the continental U.S.). Annual professional development stipend (courses, conferences, and more). New hire bonus to enhance your home office setup. Pet insurance discount. Location Opportunities Wistia is a remote-first company. Employees can work from our beautiful office in Cambridge, MA, or anywhere in the continental US. Wistia provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wistia, Inc.
