Are you a Senior Litigation Paralegal ready to own your cases and be treated as a true litigation partner?Our client is seeking a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of civil procedure (both NC state and federal) and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through trial. This isn't an entry-level role; it's for someone who thrives on high-level responsibilities and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:Manage complex litigation dockets in state and federal court.
Draft and manage pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery documents with minimal supervision.
Coordinate and track all aspects of discovery, including document management, privilege reviews, and production.
Understand case facts, claims, defenses, and procedural posture.
Anticipate discovery and evidence needs to support claims or defenses.
Assist in case strategy development and trial preparation.
Monitor deadlines, manage docketing systems, and ensure procedural compliance.
Maintain organized files, prepare chronologies and timelines, and assist with deposition/trial exhibits.
Accurately and consistently track and bill time.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm.
