Location: Union City, CA or Fontana, CA or Port Orchard, WA

Experience: 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full Time (exempt)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management highly desired

Travel: Up to 25%

About the Team

We’re currently seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain and Logistics, working either at our corporate office in Union City, CA, or at our plants in Port Orchard, WA or Fontana, CA. This position will work with Plant Managers, Purchasers and Shipping Departments at all facilities to ensure the customer receives their product as expected and in a timely manner.

About the Role

The Senior Manager of Supply Chain and Logistics will be responsible for every stage of the organization’s supply chain, from sourcing raw materials, inventory management, production management and finally coordinating delivery to our customers. This role will work closely with other departments to analyze operational performance and ensure all supply chain operations are cost effective and meet all quality and safety standards.

Financial Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and update supply chain network, in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations
• Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and logistics companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices
• Implementing logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to the different manufacturing locations
• Analyzing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place to avoid delays
• Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to the process
• Managing inventory, packing and distributing in all manufacturing locations
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
• Provide leadership and mentor various production teams

Necessary Skills

• Proven track record of success as a Supply Chain Manager or similar field
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain practices for manufacturing
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and distributors
• Manufacturing or construction background preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, like NetSuite
• Computer literate, comfortable with Office suite of products
• Enjoy being part of a team, but also feel comfortable working on your own and taking initiative
• Ability to run effective meetings and facilitate group discussions, to lead decision-making processes
• Experience working with international companies a plus
• Fluent in Spanish highly desired
• Other tasks or projects assigned

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The pay range for this position is $95,000 - $155,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on tenure, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Union City, CA: $100,000.00 - $155,000.00

Port Orchard, WA: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00

Fontana, CA: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer. Work will require individual to enter plant areas where performance factors such as: heat, noise, dust, lifting of materials, and working around equipment will be encountered.
