Job Title: Senior Project Manager, Molecular Biology

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Job Summary:

As a Senior Project Manager – Molecular Biology, you'll lead customer-focused projects from strategy to delivery, ensuring high-impact outcomes in a fast-paced biotech environment. Leveraging your molecular biology expertise, you'll oversee cross-functional teams, manage key accounts, and drive platform enhancements to maintain GenScript's competitive edge.

Responsibilities:

• Assess project feasibility and craft tailored proposals using molecular biology insights and client needs.
• Coordinating Order Management, production, and commercial teams to meet timelines.
• Act as the primary client liaison, delivering updates, resolving challenges, and ensuring satisfaction for key accounts.
• Mentor junior staff, optimize team processes, and present project outcomes to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in molecular biology or related field with 4+ years of project management experience;
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques (e.g., gene synthesis, PCR, sequencing) and hands-on lab experience.
• Strong problem solving skills, result driven thinking and able to pay attention to details.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills, with a track record of managing complex projects under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools or familiarity with LIMS or CRM systems a plus but not required.
