We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Structural Engineer to join our progressive Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multi-disciplinary projects, providing structural engineering services for a variety of clients across various sectors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage structural engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Prepare and review structural engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and construction professionals.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and construction standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing structural engineering projects.
  • Proficient in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
  • Excellent understanding of building materials and construction techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to continuously learn and grow professionally.
