This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant responsible for managing the complete tax process for various True companies and individuals, ensuring compliance with the requirements of different taxing authorities. You will actively participate in team discussions where your professional skills and knowledge are highly valued. This role offers the unique experience of working in a corporate setting that feels like a mini accounting firm, without the headaches of logging hours and billing customers!

In this position, you will assist with the timely and accurate filing of federal and state tax returns, dealing with complex tax issues for a family business that operates across diverse industries, including oil and gas, ranching, trucking, and banking. You will handle sensitive data while maintaining confidentiality at all times. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
• 8+ years of tax accounting experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or be a CPA Candidate.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check, and drug/alcohol test.

Preferred Requirements Include:

• Experience preparing complex tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance concepts as well as tax and accounting principles and procedures.
